We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with your family as you educate them at home. It is our prayer that through our involvement together, we will strengthen families and encourage community in the body of Christ. You are so much more than just one family. We are a family of families!
I would like to send you a course catalog and registration kit. Which attachment do you take, pdf or MS Word? The lower academy and summer school catalog is 30+ pages and the upper academy catalog is 100+ pages.
HEART Academy’s Three Passions
- Keeping the hearts of children while we educate
- Partnership with parents
- Community and friendships
It is essential that our families have legal representation with Home School Legal Defense Association. Unfortunately, Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) does not extend membership to charter schools and public school ISPs.
If you would like to register, we recommend you and your spouse take these steps to fully make a decision about HEART Academy:
- Email me back with the type of attachment you take – pdf or MS Word
- Preview classes on a Friday if possible – September to May, email back for an appointment
- Attend an Orientation Meeting – Once a month from March to August, email for the most recent email
- Interview with father, mother & child (ren) – at a time most convenient for you
- Register paperwork with HEART Academy – Will need an appointment with Crissi
We believe both spouses are important in choosing the education of the child so we ask you please bring your husband or wife to the meetings so he or she can pray with you about your decision.
It is best to meet with me for a paperwork registration appointment because it saves both of us time in the long run. I am able to review your paper work for completeness, tell you the check amounts for the classes/admin, add the Material fees, and ask you when you would be available to volunteer. Often times, when someone sends their paperwork in without an appointment, there is inevitably something else that needs to be turned in or a mistake has to be fixed. This leads to setting your file aside and not adding your children into the registration list until things are complete. Besides, it’s a chance to chat and see each other face-to-face which is my favorite part.
Capturing our chidlren's heart for Jesus,
Jere & Crissi Allen

We are pleased to announce our 2011-2012 core and enrichment courses for Lower Academy (for grades 3-6 every other Friday) and Upper Academy (grades 7-12 meeting every Friday). This service to Christian families is open to all homeschoolers who are advocated by Home School Legal Defense Association (www.hslda.org). These classes cater to all learning styles of students and provide extra challenges for accelerated students through honor courses.
We will be introducing new families to HEART Academy’s general information, how to enroll at HEART, philosophy of education, roles and expectations of parents, how finances will work, etc.
We believe both spouses are important in choosing the education of the child so we ask you please bring your husband or wife to the meetings so he or she can pray with you about your decision.
Below is the final list courses available next year. Which classes would you take if you were to attend HEART Academy?
Take care, Jere & Crissi
