Friendship Groups

We call our home-based groups of people who get together for Bible study, sharing life and getting to know new people "Friendship Groups."

Friendship groups meet our need for closer relationships.  When we are part of a smaller group we get to know one another better.  We feel connected!  Try a friendship group on for size.  Visit one or visit them all and then decide which one fits best.

Sunday night Friendship Groups meet on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month.  The Friday night group meets every other Friday.

Four times a year, on the 5th Sunday of the month, we have the Fifth Sunday Fellowship, a dinner event usually held at Bayside.

Sunday Nights

Mike & Dawn Thorburn's group will be meeting at 5:30pm.

Wayne & Linda Peevyhouse's group will be meeting at 6:30pm.

Jere & Crissi Allen’s group will be meeting at 6:30pm.

Friday Nights

Family Friendship Group will be meeting every other Friday night at 6:30pm, dinner included at Bayside Community Church, 1901 Cottle Ave, San Jose, 95125 at 6:30pm.  Vince Gieszler is the leader of this group.

Our Goal at Bayside is to have 100% of our adults involved in small groups. At Bayside Community Church our focus is on the quality of discipleship. We encourage those in our fellowship to "get connected" by plugging into one of our small groups. These groups meet weekly, three out of four weeks, in host homes. The purpose of these groups is to have mutual accountability, to serve and encourage one another and to promote daily Bible reading and prayer.

Develop a Biblical Worldview

Contemporary Christianity, postmodern Christianity, millennial Christianity, emerging Christianity.

How about biblical Christianity?

Sign up for "Thirty Days of The Hebrew Worldview" and receive one email per day for 30 days.

These emails will challenge you as you see the Bible from the perspective of the original audience and with God's original intent.

Over thirty days, you’ll receive 1 email each day to introduce you to this perspective – so that you can start to see the Bible from a biblical point of view. I believe that this will open your eyes. Your faith will be encouraged. You’ll discover that things start to fall in place. You’ll draw closer to God. You’ll see the Messiah in a new light. And, you’ll have fun! - Skip Moen
