Youth Ministries:  Nathan Pops

On October 20, 2000 Nathan became tired of living an empty life.  At home on his couch he asked God to help him.  After phoning a friend he was told that he needed to straighten up his life and start trusting God.  He started attending church after constantly being talked to at his son's baseball games by another parent who happened to be a pastor at Family Community Church.  Growing spiritually he met his wife and started helping in the youth group.  Eventually he became a volunteer youth director, working with Jr High students on Sundays and High School students on Thursday nights at Stage 3.

In November of 2008 Nathan and Melissa joined the leadership team of Bayside, developing a Wednesday night program for Jr and Sr High young people and teaching the first Sunday of each month at THE BASE youth service.

Nathan is passionate about his family and is dedicated to being the father and husband that God wants him to be.  He's committed to seeing the Bayside youth grow closer to Christ and in the depth of their relationships with parents and friends.
