Who Is This King of Glory?

He is not a man - Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”

He alone is God Almighty - Revelation 1:8
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

In Bruce Almighty I’m reminded:

1.  God cares for me.

“God is a mean kid sitting on an anthill with a magnifying glass and I’m the ant.  He could fix my life in five minutes if He wanted to.”

1 Peter 5:7

2.  Satan is a liar – I can’t be like God.

Genesis 3:5 – “you will be like God”

3.  God loves me and wants me to choose Him.

“How do you make somebody love you without affecting freewill?”

2 Peter 3:9

Revelation 3:20

4.  I need to surrender.

            “I surrender, I want your will.”

            Romans 12:1
