The
Alpha Course is a great opportunity to learn about
the real Jesus and what biblical Christianity is
all about. It begins with dinner, then
there's a short video and the evening finishes
with desert and discussion by 8:30 pm. This
course is offered at different times throughout
the year. It is held in homes or at
Bayside. To

This
casual event is your chance to meet the
pastor, ministry leaders and other newcomers
to Bayside. We meet once a month at the home of our pastor
at 7:30 on Friday evenings. If you are

100
– Committed to the Master
This one session class gives you a
solid understanding of what it means to be a
follower of Jesus Christ. Peak Performance is also
a great way to learn more about the history and
priorities of Bayside Community Church, and is a
requirement for anyone interested in baptism or
church membership at Bayside. Taught by our pastor and leadership team, this class is
designed to help you "plug-in" at
Bayside.
200 – Committed to Growth
Are you the same person spiritually as you were a
year ago? Unfortunately, for many the answer is
yes. Yet God wants us to be growing in our
knowledge of Him and in the grace that He has
given us (2 Peter 3:18).
Peak Performance 200 focuses on principles of
growth to spur us on towards spiritual maturity.
In this one session class we explore specifics of
how to grow in Christ. We will be looking at
matters pertaining to the mind, the emotions and
will as we examine seven personal disciplines that
will move us closer to the fully alive life in
Christ.
300 - Committed to Ministry
Discover how God has gifted you uniquely to serve
Him. This one day class will help you learn
God’s purpose for you for the common life and
benefit of Christ’s church. You will discover
how your personality has suited you for certain
roles and how Christ can transform your mind to be
more like Him as you grow to spiritual maturity.
You will also discover what spiritual gifts God
has given to His people and specifically what
gifts He has given you. The purpose of this class
is to assist you in finding a “good fit” for
your personal ministry at Bayside Community
Church.
Included in the class is a personality test that
will help you understand yourself and others
around you as well as a spiritual gifts inventory
that will assist you in finding a place to serve.
Participants will also receive personalized
counseling to help move them into service at
Bayside Community Church. (Pre-requisites PP 100 and
200).
